As the Integrated Marketplace Merchandising Commercial Manager, you will develop, apply, and oversee the sales activities for the designated Converse Stores and other Key Accounts across LATAM markets. Accountable for executing and analyzing business plans and performance targets. Work with the product and merchandising business groups to develop programs and processes to achieve revenue targets and strong brand positioning. Manage the brand by executing and aligning brand initiatives that ensure strategic sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Licensed Partners to develop, apply, and oversee the field & Key account sales strategy.
  • Create and implement business plans for achieving revenue growth and other financial targets.
  • Lead and oversee an accurate scenario planning, forecasting, seasonal initiatives, business analysis, and new sales opportunities.
  • Execute the Go To Market strategy and provide expertise and direction to the team on the use of selling tools and all relevant materials needed to enable a successful seasonal sell-in.
  • Provide clear direction to the partner teams on the expectations and placement of the directed assortments in the marketplace.
  • Track and monitor each territory buys, in-store execution and sell-thru.
  • Works cross functionally with counterparts in brand, merchandising and retail teams to ensure alignment on distribution and commercial priorities at the key game plan checkpoints.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Licensees and Key Accounts in order to influence and execute sales plans.
  • With regards to Brazil, all of the above activities will be completed but at a significantly more detailed level to ensure that our DTC activities and the rest of marketplace activities are coordinated across multiple partners include managing the marketplace related to MSRP, exclusivity, segmentation and differentiating.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 or 6 years directly relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge of the athletic industry both from product knowledge and marketplace trends. Prior field sales management in the athletic industry and/or consumer products industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record increasing revenue by creating and driving a holistic business plans inclusive of short and long term business strategies and financial targets.
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to generate quantitative / qualitative data for analysis and decision-making purposes
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with diverse group
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives. Fluency in English language & Portuguese. Spoken Fluency in Spanish.
