Position Description:

  • This individual will use knowledge of the market to localize Trek’s global marketing strategy and implement marketing initiatives to meet organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will be familiar with creating a marketing strategy, technically skilled in digital marketing and always looking to improve. This position will work closely with our Trek Headquarter team to ensure global consistency, be comfortable creating and managing budgets, driving strategy decisions within the department and providing best practices to our dealers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plan that aligns with business objectives and marketing strategy
  • Determine and deploy marketing campaigns
  • Manage B2B and B2C marketing channels with support from the marketing assistant
  • Provide guidance and best practices to our dealer network
  • Responsible for managing local marketing budget
  • Set strategic marketing plans for product launches each year
  • Determine, manage and set expectations for the ambassadors and/or athletes in the market
  • Assist with in-store marketing campaigns and retail support
  • Liaison to media partners for product reviews
  • Determine and execute events that support key product categories and business goals.
  • Be a highly motivated team player that is focused on success
  • Excellent communications and writing skills with the ability to listen effectively

Position Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter that can excel in a fast paced, consultative role
  • Requires some traveling and weekend work for dealer visits, events, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years of marketing related experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Embrace a continuous improvement philosophy
  • Advanced knowledge of digital media (social, email and web) and marketing best practices.
  • Ability to deal with reality and make tough calls
  • Customer service focused
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 programs - proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude, hands on and can-do mentality
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • National and International travel required
  • Bonus if you have cycling knowledge or are passionate about the sport
