NIKE: Digital Site Merchandising Specialist
About the position:

  • Responsible for the performance of online sales by managing brand strategy, digital assortment, interpreting market trends and behaviors.
  • Partner with x-functional areas such as planning, brand, operations and merchandising in order to execute global and local strategic priorities for a premium digital commerce experience.
  • Leverage consumer insights and data analysis to generate business and provide a flawless execution for the consumers in the territory.
  • Manage internal search, product grids, front-end tools, top menu and left navigation focusing mobile experience.
  • Suggest and approve layouts for specific pages and special programs, validating media content related to SEO and destination links, link strategy and creation to support x-function projects, managing product review tool and features.
  • Local and international alignment for projects, services and features for the store, leading customization projects and product opportunities aligned to x-functional areas of the company.
  • Manage front-end development threads, attending category and project meetings as a representative of the area, as well as defining A/B test strategy and action plan.
  • Support future plans through assortment, depth analysis, inventory management, product return process and markdown strategy.
  • Map and set commercial and business opportunities for the site, suggesting media and e-mail marketing opportunities, leading and managing launch calendar process, own the end to end execution for commercial and business opportunities.
  • Represent the area in strategic meetings with internal and external clients, executing marketing seasonal game plan strategy and launch alignment forums by checking inventory, content, attributes, and images.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Marketing or a closely related field.
  • Advanced English (writing and speaking).
  • Digital commerce background.

Adidas: Publishing Editor
Manage local Newsroom team, working across global, regional, and local earned media spaces to drive brand advocacy, momentum, and sales. Connect our consumer with the content and experiences they are passionate through a variety of media channels – including, but not limited to, social media (earned and paid), PR, Influencers, and Sports Marketing assets.
Ensure the brand is “always relevant” and “always connected” to our consumers through an industry-leading strategy that focuses on content creation, curation, and publishing and influencer marketing. Direct the right stories to the right people at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of publishing experts responsible for landing Brand stories across earned, owned / paid, assets and influencer channels. Steer and lead the development of local tools from concept to activation, ensuring that all projects are on time, within budget and on brief.
  • Drive publishing, moderation and community management of relevant social channels
  • Land the global publishing plan, according to the latest Newsroom Playbook and Operating Manual with key media partners to ensure the global stories are being communicated at the right time and place. Support regional and local stories strategically to ensure coverage.
  • Guide the decision-making around which local stories will be sourced and covered. Optimize content for all platforms and ensure that it feeds the overall ecosystem strategy.
  • Build advocacy and seeding plans targeting key influencers in / around Brazil.
  • Build and increase followings for each of our platforms through content, engagement, paid media and community management strategies that resonate with adidas’ target communities and consumers.
  • Partner with the local media buying agency, the local brand marketing team and global category teams to devise and execute a plan for how best to invest in social media activity to target the right audiences.
  • Provide thought, insights, industry and trend leadership to the team and network, and drive ideas to action
  • Be at the center of the local market community and publishing touch points, ensuring close collaboration and partnership with various x-functional partners (Brand Comms, BUs, CRM, Sports Marketing, Trade Marketing, Retail Marketing, eComm, Trend, EIM).
  • Partner with BU Comms teams (global and local) on amplifying media events (press conferences, interview sessions, media days), consumer events and influencer events, celebrating brand stories, topics and values.
  • Drive and oversee all aspects of content production, including budget, vendor and asset management.
  • Enforce the global policies and mandates – ensure all global standards around Newsroom guidelines, tone of voice and brand identity guidelines are followed.
  • Together with the other newsroom network around the world, be responsible for ensuring a coordinated adidas presence on all relevant channels to maximize global impact.
  • Manage the newsroom budget and ensure investment into programs, stories and brand moments that will maximize brand engagement and drive profitability.
  • Guide and mentor the Brazil Newsroom team, investing in career development and day-to-day leadership.
